Abby Harman NT Dip CNM MBANT is a professional, qualified Nutritional Therapist and FLT practitioner in the Lake District. Specialising in lifestyle healthcare and sport, Abby works with many types of individuals including high profile athletes in the world of competitive climbing, cycling and fell-running with outstanding performance results. She collaborates with other healthcare and sport professionals and is the co-founder of The Mind & Body Academy with Ailsa Finlayson.
Ailsa Finlayson BA (QTS) Hons is a fully qualified Personal Trainer, Life Coach, Fitness and Swim Instructor and School Teacher based in the Lake District. With over a decade of experience and being well versed in a variety of disciplines she specializes in getting the best out of every body. She likes to challenge and encourage her clients to surpass their physical and mental boundaries enabling optimal performance to be achieved. Co-founder of The Mind & Body Academy with Abby Harman.
Alison Bloxham has been owner and lead clinician at Kendal Physiotherapy Centre for the past 15 years. Specialist interests include sports injuries and muscle balance re-education for which Alison receives referrals from all over the Northwest. Alison has, over the years, been involved in providing Physiotherapy to local sports clubs, the Territorial Army and various national and international sports events. Since 2001 Alison has been the Physio for the British team at the World Transplant Games, and also coordinated Physiotherapy provision for the British Games which run annually.
Alison has joined the team at The Mind & Body Academy to provide specialist input on Performance testing to identify weak links in the body’s performance and stability, thus enabling the training programme to be individually tailored to retrain these areas and therefore enhance performance and reduce injury risk. Alison will also be advising on injury prevention and management for the Company.
